UNIKA has developed new fire resistant cable families being able to replace mica tapes (and XLPE insulation) by means new special silicon compound having high fire characteristic performances when undergoing to flame or fire.
The usage of such silicon compound, whose recipe has been completely developed by UNIKA, makes the cables much easier to be installed avoiding waste of time for removing mica tapes, and production of dusts very harmful for human breathing.
